There needs to be a separate 1-2 page paper on the findings and more detail from the slides. Slides should be long enough for a 7-10 minute presentation and an opinion about the intervention should be included in the end of the slides before the reference slide.(like does it seem appropriate, enough research, suitable for children and adults?) References should be base on scholarly articles only.

Stimulability intervention was designed to improve speech sound stimulability in young children with limited phonetic inventories
It was developed by Adele Miccio and Mary Elbert (1996)
Speech Sounds Disorders (SSD) Intervention Project -20%
Individually, students are required to research, review, and present on a recent publication (within last 5-15 years) on the efficacy of a contemporary speech sound disorder intervention program or approach to speech sounds disorders remediation. . No separate written report is required apart from the slide presentation.
Working individually, students will select a published intervention program ,approach ,or protocol.
Students will include the name of their selected intervention program, method, or protocol to the Discussion Board
thread “SSD Intervention Project” by 09-22-2020 and await approval. Students must choose an intervention
program, approach, or protocol that differs from their peer’s selection.
Students will be required to present their selected interventions in class. Oral presentations should comprise of the following components:
a) A summary of the published speech sounds disorders intervention program, approach, or protocol. b) A critique of the published speech sounds disorders intervention program, method, or protocol.
c) A demonstration of the administration of the published speech sounds disorders intervention program, approach, or protocol.
In-class presentations should be 7-10minutes.
All presentations must include accompanying slides. Students are required to upload their presentation slides to Blackboard at the time the assignment is due.
