This course focuses on project communication and stakeholder management. It considers the processes, tools, and techniques used to manage project communications with stakeholders and emphasizes the use of executive project sponsorship as a strategic tool for project success. Innovative practices and professional development activities for communication are also considered.
Assessments in the course are predicated on a business scenario for a fictional company called CapraTek, which is engaged in rolling out a software update for its Smart Home device hub called Alfred!

A detailed stakeholder communication plan is extremely useful to a project manager. It enables more efficient planning, communication, and consideration of the needs of project decision-makers and other personnel. The first step in the plan is to identify the key stakeholders and document their roles and responsibilities.
In this assessment, you will identify and gather information on the stakeholders associated with the launch of the Alfred! iOS software update. You will use the information to create a stakeholder registry that will inform project communications.
